Sarah Litton is a commercial writer specializing in marketing and communications material for Washington area firms.
Before her writing career, Sarah spent three years in the nonprofit sector advising Global 500 companies on strategies for building goodwill among stakeholders. She worked with Nike and Gap, helping them curtail labor rights abuses in global supply chains. She also advised the mining industry on strategic and socially responsible approaches to treating and preventing HIV and AIDS among workers in Africa.
Sarah continues to build corporate reputations, but now focuses on communications - she's written capabilities brochures and proposals for government contractors, news releases for trade associations, white papers and case studies for nonprofits and an array of other marketing and communications materials.
Her interest in writing and communications began while studying history as an undergraduate at San Francisco State University. She later attended graduate school in international affairs at George Washington University in the District of Columbia.
